The Mummy World Premier Event - 1999

The Emilie Rosebud Foundation had a world premier event for the Universal Pictures movie “The Mummy”. This was also the grand opening of the Cinemark 13 screen multi-theater complex on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri.

This event for the Rosebud Foundation was a tremendous success and had numerous sponsors including Sprint PCS, Glimcher Development, Block and Company Realtors and dozens of other companies as well as a ribbon cutting by the mayor and an appearance by one of the major stars in the movie, Erick Avari (The Curator). There were over 2,000 supporters and contributors at the event which raised over $100,000 for the Foundation.
